Right around the beginning of the fall, the NFL starts, and with that comes fantasy football. It’s one of the most popular things to do! But why is it so popular, is it because people like to bet or it takes their mind off what they have to do in life or is it just because people are competitive or maybe it’s because people like to place bets.
From my research the biggest thing I can find is people like to take their mind off real life. That’s right the reason people draft a fake football team is people want a break from life. They may like the break from things like work or kids. Sounds crazy I know, But it really is fun to hang out with your buddies and have a good time while drafting a team. Plus the winner really likes it because he gets paid.
According to the website “imaginesports” They say the same thing, that the teams are not as much about having a team but more about being able to hang out with friends and just having a good time in general. So for all the people out there that say it’s stupid, it might be more about having a good time, than really having a good team.
