Trans Women on beer can!?

TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney recently did a brand deal with the famous beer company Bud Light and people are furious about it. This all began on April 1st, 2023 when Dylan Mulvaney, 26, had posted a TikTok on her account that was promoting a Bud Light contest. Dylan Mulvaney is very notorious on TikTok often posting her transition to becoming a woman and her wins and losses with it. Her Bud Light Advertisement was less than a minute long and basically stated that it was a $15,000 giveaway with the company during March madness. Dylan had also stated the company had sent her her own personalized can with her face on it to celebrate the 365 day milestone. After this everything went downhill fast. Calls for a boycott followed not long after the whole promotion went up and the Transgender community was livid. People were upset because the Beer company had chosen to partner with someone of the trans community playing off of the current political situation, which has been seen as a rise in anti-LGBTQ. You can see on many other social media platforms where people are criticizing the brand and sharing videos of others and themselves shooting beer cans or lighting them on fire or destroying them. Mulvaney has since taken a break from TikTok after uploading the video.
