Ms. Eckenrode is an English and Journalism Teacher with the High School Remote Virtual Program. This is her fourth year with the RVP. She enjoys anything creative: reading, quote collecting, and art, more specifically painting. 

When it comes to writing Ms. Eckenrode  likes to write fiction. She finds the most challenging part of writing to be getting all of her ideas into the story. She says,  “My pre-writing can be overwhelming at times.”

Ms. Eckenrode hopes that writers young and old learn to enjoy writing. Write what you know and if you don’t know it, learn it.

When she is not teaching or writing, she spends time with her family which includes her pets 2 dogs and a cat. She also enjoys binge watching the latest series.
