Cadence Offutt is a Sophomore at Frederick County Virtual School, this is her second year doing this option. She went to Walkersville High School for the first half of her Freshmen year but now does Virtual School and is thriving and loving it.

When it comes to writing, Cadence enjoys to write about personal experiences to show what she has been through to express to the audience and help them relate. Her most challenging part about writing these is about trying to make some of her stories relate to her audience.

While Cadence is not reading or writing, she enjoys riding horses, sewing, and being a firefighting and EMT cadet being a part of the Walkersville Fire Company. She also, is looking forward to starting her EMT class next January and becoming a certified EMT by the end of 2026.
