What does your family do every year for the holidays?

Every family has different holiday traditions.Everyone might celebrate differently.Some go see holiday lights and some might make cookies together as a family.

My family is a little different.We are a family with mixed cultures.My dad is from Puerto Rico and my mom is from Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Dutch).

In our family we celebrate twice.We celebrate Noche Buena(Christmas Eve),that´s what you celebrate in Puerto Rico.On Noche Buena we all get together to eat,celebrate,sing and exchange gifts.Our night doesn’t end until after midnight.

Then on Christmas Day we celebrate with my mom ´ s side of the family.Again we eat,celebrate and exchange gifts.

When everyone else is taking down their Christmas trees and decorations we are still celebrating.Our Christmas celebrations don ´ t end until after 3 Kings Day on January 6th.
