Breakfast is Overrated
For a long time it has been said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. People have forced themselves to eat breakfast even when they are not hungry. Is that really necessary?
I would say no. The “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” is said by breakfast companies so they can make more money.
Some people say you should eat breakfast. One of the reasons they sight for this is that eating breakfast helps you lose weight. This is not true. What is true is that people who eat breakfast may be more physically active in the morning and might eat less later in the day, the breakfast itself is not shown to help you lose weight. Just like any other meal you gain weight if you eat it.
You also gain a lot more weight depending on the breakfast you eat and foods with high sugar and fat are not going to help with that.
Another reason you don’t need to eat breakfast is time. Breakfast can help you save time which you can use for something else. Something like writing an article on how people don’t need to eat breakfast.
Ultimately eating breakfast is your decision. It’s not the most important meal of the day. You can choose to eat it if you want but you can also choose not to eat it.
